v.2012 REFLEKTOR - Pinot Noir - La Voix Winery

Continuing our wine & music collaboration, this broody and contemplative wine matches with Arcade Fire’s Reflektor, asking what is our purpose, and is there anything after life here.

Life can only be understood backwards, but it must be lived forwards.

This wine a darker, and deeper and is made from the new-world Merry Edwards clone. It’s brooding and pensive with a heavier structure. It engages you on a completely different level – this wine is very deep, it makes you pause. There is a boldness to the wine, which is the voice of the vineyard and also the clone, which is less traditional than the Burgundian Pinot Noir clones. It’s intriguing, exciting and avant-garde.
