A Canada native/California transplant with a degree in fine art, Sarah Berger always envisioned a future in which she could make art for people without becoming a “starving artist”. As co-founder and creative director for Makers & Allies, a design studio specializing in packaging for wine, craft, and spirits, she pursues her passion as she leads at the helm of the creative team.
Occasionally, the stars align, as they did with Steve and La Voix, and she gets to combine her passion for painting with her love of packaging design. Her deep love of music fit naturally with the concept of the brand and, using watercolor and ink as a base for her work, she let the spirit of each song inspire her brushstrokes and influence each unique pattern for the full lineup of La Voix wines.
